SimCert Practice Hub is run by BrainNet Consulting Inc., Surrey, British Columbia. This notice explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Your name, email, and password (stored as a one-way hash). Your practice activity: which questions you answered, your answers, when, and how long each took. Optional profile details you choose to add, such as profession, workplace type, province, and exam date. Basic technical logs needed to keep the site secure.

Why we use it

To run your account, score your practice, show your progress, and keep the service secure. To improve questions using anonymous answer statistics. To produce anonymous audience totals for sponsors, where any group smaller than 20 people is hidden.

What we never do without your permission

We never sell your personal information. We never share your name, email, or scores with a sponsor unless you agree to that specific sponsor. We send news emails only if you tick the box to receive them.

Where it is stored

On servers operated by our hosting provider. Data may be stored outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.

Your choices

From your account page you can change your email and sponsor choices, download all your data, or delete your account. When you delete your account we remove your name and email and keep only anonymous answer statistics.
